Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow (July 25th) will be the start of Summer Games Done Quick. For all the information go here. But basically its where a bunch of speedrunners play games for an extended period of time to raise money for charity. The last event they had (AGDQ 2013) they were able to raise $448,423.27 over the course of a week. So if you got a couple bucks lying around, donate! They even offer prizes you can win if you donate during a certain timeframe. Don't forget to enjoy the gaming of course. If you've never seen a speedrun before, your mind will be blown. (And thanks Cats for telling me about AGDQ earlier this year)
Sheeit, I totally forgot about this. Thanks for reminding me. Too bad I unloaded all my funds in the Steam sale.
It was during the bonus stream. They were playing a game called Rising Zan, the God Hand of the pre-God Hand era. Every time a boss is defeated, all the buttons can be mashed for a short period of time in order to lengthen the finishing move, which happens to be even more button mashing. Uyama needed some extra help with his last finishing move. I saw this game in multiple bonus streams already. It's too bad that it's so obscure that there's no soundtrack available anywhere.
