Finally, after weeks of Codex resets and 3 GSD-generated phases, jQuery has finally been expunged from VIPVGM! The main script may have gotten significantly larger, but it's no longer dependent on the bloated jQuery and jQuery UI libraries! These libraries were used to streamline coding and handle animations, but thanks to the power of AI, they're no longer needed and can just be magically poofed away. Of course, I still had to do some fine-tuning, because some animations and UI elements didn't look right. Refactored code to remove dependency on jQuery and jQuery UI libraries! This cuts out a bunch of overhead and will improve loading efficiency by, like, a lot of milliseconds! UI animations and popup messages are slightly different but look slightly better than before! VIPVGM now honorably respects your system's "Reduce Motion" preference when enabled, regardless of your animation settings in the player! Invalid track IDs are now automatically cleaned up from your Chosen/Sourced/Blocked lists, so they're no longer included in your exported lists! Importing your lists doesn't refresh the entire playlist anymore! Importing invalid IDs will also warn you about it. Error checking is more robust than before! Console error messages are more informative, and interactions, including simultaneous ones, are cross-checked to prevent bugs. Improved the update warning system, reducing the time it takes to refresh the page! Every piece of code is now minified maximally, making page loading lightning fast! Other background optimizations, improvements, cleanups, and bug fixes. I'm no longer transpiling the code for compatibility with old browsers. If you're using an ancient OS, just use Supermium or whatever. In other news, I've been using ChatGPT a lot more than Google nowadays. It's somehow a far superior search engine. And Claude is a bit of an asshole.
