I know there's no dedicated Programming section, and this isn't strictly related to video games, but... Anybody heard of Koding.com? I've been keeping track of this for a few days now. It's an browser-based webapp for programmers. It looks somewhat intuitive and I'm excited to see the features they plan on implementing. I was already quite impressed by the interactive shell app they're sporting. https://koding.com/ They're in Closed Beta right now, but I have 3 invites for people who are interested in a first hand look. Here's my blog post on the app along with screenshots: http://otakurist.com/2013/01/21/koding-com/ So far, some notable features are: Github integration, the interactive shell, the status wall, the online text editor...
Seems kinda neat, but I don't think I would actually have a use for it. Anywhere I'd want to be editing code, I already have the ability to just SSH into my main machine and do whatever I want.
Great blogpost, I'm loving the idea! You wouldn't happen to still have an invite laying around would you?
