Today is the VIP's 15th birthday! I'm terrible at making speeches, but I'm fairly competent at prompt engineering, so here's a word from ChatGPT:

I couldn't have said it better myself. Anyway, to make this update not pointless, I'm adding a few awesome tracks!

    Code:
Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation - The Tiberian Sons - The Liberation of Gracemeria
replacing Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation - The Liberation of Gracemeria
Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War - The Tiberian Sons - The Unsung War
replacing Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War - The Unsung War
Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War - The Tiberian Sons - First Flight
Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War - The Tiberian Sons - Zero
replacing Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War - Zero
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown - The Tiberian Sons - Dual Wielder
In this moment, I am euphoric, unironically. As I tweeted, the way this band was able to elevate these tracks is absolutely insane. They sound like officially endorsed arrangements done by professionals. They've worked professionally before with Frank Klepacki, but I believe their epic metal Ace Combat arrangements are their best works. Hell, they added over a minute's worth of glorious music to "The Liberation of Gracemeria".

    Code:
Project Wingman: Frontline 59 - Redline
Project Wingman: Frontline 59 - Fullmetal Frontline
Project Wingman just released its first expansion. Too bad it's exclusively for the PS5. Indeed, a very peculiar choice. >:(

    Code:
Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker - THE PRIMALS - Close in the Distance (Band)
replacing Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker - Close in the Distance
Keeping within the rock theme, we have this very fine arrangement by Soken's own band, THE PRIMALS. Probably unpopular opinion: This is the only track I like from them. The first few seconds sounds like the intro of "Blurry" from Puddle of Mudd.

    Code:
Sonic Frontiers - I'm Here (feat. Merry Kirk-Holmes)
Sonic Frontiers - Find Your Flame (feat. Kellin Quinn & Tyler Smyth)
    Sonic Frontiers - Rhea Island
Sonic Frontiers - Kronos Island: 4th Mvt.
Sonic Frontiers: Sonic’s Birthday Bash - Action Chain Challenge
Sonic Frontiers: The Final Horizon - Second Wind - Sonic Mvt.
Sonic Frontiers: The Final Horizon - I’m with you - Vocal ver. (feat. Gaby Borro)
The Sonic Frontiers OST is, dare I say, a masterpiece. It has such an excellent blend of action and emotional music. I don't think anyone expected a Sonic game to have 6 discs worth of music! The action music will sound familiar to Richard Jacques fans, even though he had no involvement in this game, unfortunately (or fortunately, seeing as how well this OST was made without him). There are also some unexpectedly emotional tracks. I never knew a Sonic OST would make me feel things. I would go so far as to say it's the most depressing Sonic OST!

BTW, in order to further circumvent my track limit gimmick, I've decided to attach tracks to game updates, as long as they're listed in IGDB, which categorizes them similarly to DLCs or expansions. Game updates are sort of like free DLCs nowadays, particularly when it comes to gacha games. Games with ongoing content updates are a bitch to evaluate for good music, especially if the game is at least a year old with half a dozen OST releases, and each of the OSTs has some exceptional tracks.

    But that's not all!

Some madlad (which I'm thankful for) actually subscribed to my Patreon. Each tier states that I'll add the patron's name somewhere, so I added a section in the menu.

    But wait, there's more!

Ever since vipvgm.net was made, I used Google Analytics with a bunch of custom event tags to see what tracks are being engaged the most. I like looking at the data, but I don't know what to do with them, so I'm sharing some of it! Here are the deets from this past year:

Damn, 15 years that this has been around.

Ever since I've discovered the playlist I've always had it open on a tab on my computer, not necessarily always playing something though. Thank you for maintaining it to this day.
