What better way to celebrate Our Lord's death and resurrection than with a mellow update! So let's get right to it.
Let's start with this long jazzy cover from Super Soul Bros!
Then there's this whole bunch of tracks from OCRemix. I don't really like most of their work, but there can be gold when you sift through the dirt. The first 2 tracks are from an...

Wow, 10 years and still no cease and desist letters. I'm on a roll!
Let's all remind ourselves of why I started this playlist, because sometimes I forget it. 10 years ago, I compiled a short playlist of around 100 tracks for 4chan /f/ and /v/, as a sort of Christmas gift. It was a silly gift filled with some of my favorite video game music. People enjoyed the playlist, so I continuously expanded on it. Later on, it became clear that I was doing it to share my unique obsession with VGM; which is pretty much the only music I listen to. This playlist is unique in that I like to share all the obscure VGM that's generally overlooked, including talented artists who take the time to arrange their favorite tracks, sometimes even exceeding the quality of the originals. There's just a ton of good VGM out there that people aren't listening to. Hell, I even made a YT channel just so I could share more. I feel like I can keep doing this...

This mellow update covers all sorts of genres, from jazz to world to samba. And damn, it's been a while since this was updated, so let's do this.
Let's start with this brilliant remix from SongeLeReveur, aka Songe. It has a very nostalgic feeling, and not just because it's from Earthbound.
Here's a smooth remix from the OC Jazz Collective. This track is from a Chrono Trigger jazz album that's available for FREE!
You may already know Ben Briggs from the VIP who is popular for his upbeat electronic tracks. Well, here's a complete genre flip from that!
Hey, it's Pilotwings Resort from the VIP that I just copied over. Did I mention this track gives me some...

The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated... even more this time around! I guess I have some 'splainin' to do. First of all, a thousand apologies. My absence was due to three key factors: 1. I was in a third-world country for some months with little to no Internet; 2. I was addicted to FF14, which has died down somewhat, because; 3. It's summer. I hibernate in the summer.
But now that I'm here, I forgot how to do the updates. So I'm just gonna wing it; let's goooo! This is gonna be a rocking update.
We're starting off with Karmaflow, a pretty obscure game/rock opera, which is strange because the music features vocalists from popular power metal bands, such as DragonForce, Sonata Arctica, Epica, and more. It's interesting how this small indie game studio managed to gather an all-star cast and even an orchestra for their game.
